Application for DTF Powder
Apply TPU powder: Sprinkle DTF TPU hot melt adhesive powder evenly on the printed pattern on the PET film. Use a sieve or similar tool to obtain an even, thin layer of powder. Shake off excess powder.
Activated powder: A PET film with a printed pattern and TPU powder is placed face down on the target material, such as a fabric or textile. Use a hot press or similar device to heat and pressurize. Heat and pressure activate the TPU powder, causing it to melt and bind to the fabric.
Transfer process: Maintain heat and pressure for the recommended time specified by the manufacturer or according to tests. This allows the TPU powder to completely melt and creates a strong bond between the design and the fabric.
Cooling and release: After the specified transfer time, the pressure is released from the hot press and the PET film is carefully removed from the fabric. Allow the fabric to cool completely before handling.
Finishing: Once the fabric has cooled, you can perform any necessary finishing steps, such as trimming excess threads or performing a post-treatment process specific to the fabric type.
