FQL Automatic L Bar Sealer Overview

The automatic L bar sealing machine is designed for fully automatic online shrink packaging. It uses photoelectric sensors to detect products automatically and supports both automatic feeding and manual feeding modes. The machine works with center-folded film and seals the remaining three sides of the package.

The constant-temperature sealing and cutting system can be used with PE, PVC, POF and other industrial standard heat-sealing films. It creates firm and clean seals, especially for POF shrink film. When changing product size, operators only need to make simple handwheel adjustments without replacing parts, which reduces changeover time and makes operation easier.

The adjustable-speed front feeding system and rear collection platform help the complete machine run at higher speed with automatic, labor-saving operation.

Main Switch and Operation Notes

Stroke Setting

If the stroke time is too long, the film has too much excess time and the finished shrink package may look loose. If the time is too short, the sealing knife may touch the product. A common reference range is 0.1-0.5 seconds, depending on product thickness and packaging condition.

Counter

When the product passes the photoelectric sensor and the sealing knife moves down and returns, the counter displays the quantity. Press the RESET button to clear the counter.

Through-Beam Photoelectric Sensor

The sensor is installed on both sides of the conveyor. When the product passes the sensor, the stroke setting activates and the sealing knife moves down for sealing and cutting.

Manual / Automatic Selector Switch

Use manual mode when installing film or adjusting the machine. In manual mode the conveyor does not run and the photoelectric sensor is off. Use automatic mode for normal packaging. In automatic mode the conveyor runs and the sensor is active. Do not touch the sensor area by hand during automatic operation.

Sealing Temperature

Typical reference settings are about 180 C for transverse sealing and about 300 C for longitudinal sealing. The final setting depends on shrink film material and thickness.

Sealing Time

A common reference setting is about 0.8 seconds. The final setting depends on film material, film thickness and sealing result.

Cylinder Maintenance

Drain water from the cylinder at least once per month and check the oil condition at least once per month.
